Navy Logistics Exercise Planner
Amentum is seeking a dynamic and highly qualified **Navy Logistics Exercise Planner** to provide technical services to perform operational war planning analysis, exercise support, and project management associated with efficient execution and management in support of COMPACFLT N43. You would be an excellent candidate for this position if you: + Enjoy working in a fast-paced, high impact, dynamic environment + Are self-motivated, but have experience and a desire to work with a team to successfully achieve objectives + Have experience and knowledge in Navy exercise planning and like to travel **Essential Responsibilities:** + Track and inform COMPACFLT N43 Director, Fleet and Joint Exercises, on all aspects of exercise program management, including any deficiencies that may impact the attainment of exercise training goals and objectives. + Support COMPACFLT N43 Fleet and Joint Exercises in planning, liaison with supporting and supported commands, management, execution, and documentation of all exercises in which COMPACFLT leads as the Organization Conducting the Event (OCE) or is involved. + Assist in developing ship maintenance and repair support plans for Pacific Theater Major Theater War ( **MTW** ) plans. + Serve as a program advisor, technical authoritative expert, and point of contact for Pacific Theater Ship Maintenance Logistics Plans and support infrastructure. + Conduct in-depth analyses of logistics, ship maintenance, and repair policies, procedures, and techniques in the context of deliberate and crisis action planning. + Develop agenda items, briefs, and materials for high-level policy meetings and recommend milestones or policies. + Define and address ship maintenance and repair challenges, proposing actionable solutions. + Participate in the Ship Maintenance Cell, Maritime Operations Center ( **MOC** ), ensuring coordination with all ship maintenance and repair functional elements. + Contribute to command deliberate and crisis action management teams and recommend innovative support concepts. **Minimum Requirements:** + Bachelor’s degree or 10 or more years’ military experience in lieu of degree. + Experience with JELC, to include JTIMS entries, MSEL and METL development. + 2 or more years’ experience as a Navy or Joint Exercise Planner. + In-depth knowledge of U.S. Military operations in the Pacific AOR. + Familiarity with the Joint Planning Process. + Strong understanding of Time-Phased Force Deployment Databases (TPFDD) and Joint Operations and Planning Systems (JOPES). + Proven ability to analyze logistics challenges and recommend actionable solutions. + Experience with logistics sustainability analysis (LSA) and mobilization planning. + Strong oral and written communication skills for effective briefings, policy development, and coordination across commands and agencies. + Experience working in cross-functional and high-level team environments. + Willingness to travel 30% or more annually, including to Mainland U.S. and Allied/Partner nations for conferences, planning sessions, and exercises. + Active SECRET security clearance. Note: U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a Secret security clearance. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Five or more years of experience supporting DoD activities the USINDOPACOM AOR. + Three or more years’ staff experience on Service HQ, Combatant Command, OSD, or Joint Staff. + Familiarity with U.S Navy and joint logistics concepts and frameworks. + Master's Degree from an accredited college, university, or Graduation from a military command and staff college. + Top Secret Clearance The salary range for this position is $140K to $160K. (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
