Navy Trial Director
Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Navy** **Trial Director** to join our team in **Bethesda, MD.** **Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:** + Plans and conducts acquisition and analysis of at-sea acoustic evaluations. + Must be able to lead a team to completion of analysis and reporting of at-sea results and recommendations.​ + Ensures data quality in real time and uses personal judgment to determine the best path forward as an evaluations objectives change. + Prepares written, technical reports that identify emergent issues and works with team members to present recommendations for remediation. **Basic Qualifications:** + Bachelor of Science degree, preferably in Engineering or Physics + Previous Officer of the Deck (OOD) underway or equivalent experience + Three (3) years of hands-on, demonstrated experience with navigation and/or piloting safety working with U.S. Uniformed Services ships **Preferred Qualifications:** + Five (5) years of experience with both submarine and surface ship acoustics + Understanding of acoustic measurement systems, in-water measurement arrays, the interfacing of hardware and the development of software + Established track record of project management of system development and integration + Demonstrated track-record of project management and successful task completion to include coordinating U.S. Navy ship operations with a test and evaluation program agenda **Security Clearance Requirements:** + The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance. **Physical Requirements:** + Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%. + Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. + Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer. + Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
