Job Title: NC Programmer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced NC Programmer to create and manage N/C programs for 3-5 axis machines. This role involves creating tooling and fixturing required for machining detail parts and working closely with shop employees to provide troubleshooting and programming support.

ResponsibilitiesCreate N/C programs for 3-5 axis machinesDevelop tooling and fixturing required for machining detail partsCollaborate with shop employees to troubleshoot and provide programming supportEssential SkillsHigh school diploma or equivalent certificateMinimum 2 years of N/C programming experience plus related machine shop experienceCATIA V5 programming experienceStrong blueprint reading and understanding of GD&T interpretation and applicationIn-depth knowledge of G and M codes with strong editing skillsProficiency in computer applicationsAdvanced level skills in using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and other inspection gaugesStrong communication skills, both verbal and non-verbalAdditional Skills & QualificationsTwo-year vocational training is preferredCATIA V5 & CATIA V6 experienceCAD/CAM software experience is preferredMachining experience in CNC is preferredKnowledge of manufacturing processes related to the aerospace industryAbility to program, set-up, and run jobs unsupervisedProficient mid-level math skillsWork Environment

This is a full-time position with hours from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, in an engineering setting. The role involves working with advanced machining technologies and tools, ensuring a dynamic and engaging work environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $51.00 - $51.00
