Braun Intertec is seeking to hire an API Inspection Technician to join their Bloomington, MN team.

Job Description Summary

Performs API 510/570 inspections, organize UTT people, create inspection plans.

Responsibilities:

Perform API 510 & 570 inspectionsMay perform Ultrasonic, Radiographic, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, and visual inspections on specifically assigned field or laboratory projectsWorks independently as crew lead on job sitesPrepare reports and other work documents in a timely and accurate mannerUnderstands and utilizes safe work practices

Required Experience:

API 510 & 570 certificationAPI 653 certification preferred, not requiredCWI Certification is a plusASNT-TC-1A Level II in NDE methods – RT, MT, PT, UT, VT preferredHigh School Diploma or equivalentPost education or formal training in non-destructive testingFamiliar with NDT equipmentExperienced with NDT methods and proceduresMust have a valid driver’s license and clean driving recordMust be able to lift a minimum of 75 lbs.Must be able to work off ladders and scaffolding
