Job Purpose
Nondestructive Testing (NDT) Level III Radiographer (RT) is tasked with the day-to-day operations of the NDT department and supervision of NDT inspectors. Provide real time x-ray service and support to the assigned projects and programs to ensure product meets customer quality requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Radiographer (RT) Level III Real Time x-ray certificationKnowledge of real time x-ray equipment and imaging software, radiographic interpretationsMaintain all X-Ray related Equipment / SystemsPerform Real-time X-Rays on products and components per existing Procedures and Operating Instructions for internal and external customersTrain, qualify and certify NDT RT inspection personnelWrite NDT ProceduresDevelop NDT X-ray inspection techniquesSupport manufacturing operation level procedures, inspection techniquesSupport NDT investigations, perform inspections and participate in supplier audits if requiredEnsure compliance with customer and certification agency regulationsProvide NDT RT certification and data for completed X-ray inspectionsMaintain safe work environment with X-ray monitor equipment, maintain x-ray reports and digital logs Other duties as assignedTravel 30-40%Relocation provided!Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent; Associates Degree preferredFive (5) years of work experience as NDT RT Level II in aerospace inspectionsCertified ASNT NDT Level IIIFamiliar with quality system requirements (ASME Section III, ANSI, NQA-1, AS9100, ISO9001, etc.)Ability to read, interpret, and apply engineering drawings and specificationsCompetent computer skills, including MS Office, specifically Word and ExcelAbility to read, write, and understand EnglishMinimum and Preferred Qualifications:
Must be qualified and certified to ASNT-TC-1A in the following NDT Methods that will be utilized:Radiographic (RT)Preferred candidate to have previous shooters card along with Safety Training associated with Radiography.Preferred candidate will have experience in Digital Radiography (DR)Preferred candidate will be Certified in one or more of the following NDT methods in conjunction with RT:Visual Examination (VT),Liquid Penetrant Examination (PT)Magnetic Particle Examination (MT)Ultrasonic ExaminationRequired education:
Required: High School diploma or equivalent with at least 5 years of inspection related experience.Preferred: 5 years of inspection related experience with degree completion in technical or engineering related discipline from a university, college, or technical school.Required Licenses or Certifications:
Previous Level III Certification to ASNT-TC-1A including documented objective evidence of classroom and on the job training experience
