**Job Title: Non-Destructive Testing Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Technician to join our team. The position offers a competitive hourly rate of $37-53, with shifts from 7am-3:30pm Monday to Friday and 3:30pm-2am Monday to Thursday, including overtime opportunities before shifts. **Responsibilities** + Conduct quality weld inspections using various methods in accordance with industry standards and contract-specific requirements. + Provide factual, comprehensive data and draft reports for customers addressing NDT inspection criteria completely. + Coordinate with Project Management, Production, Customers, and Third Party Surveyors as required. + Prepare Quality Plans, Inspection, and Test Reports. + Review and certify final documentation for customers. + Demonstrate proficiency performance as a minimum NDT Level I / II, with a minimum of 600 logged hours in any two of the following areas: Visual, Magnetic Particle Testing (combination of Type I and Type II), Penetrant Testing (combination of Dry Method & Wet Method), Radiography Operator (combination of Gamma & X-Ray), Ultrasonic (Thickness & Shearwave). + Set up and perform NDT test procedures. + Interpret specifications relative to NDT testing and acceptance/rejection criteria. + Be familiar with the scope and limitations of the methods for which qualified and exercise assigned responsibility for OJT and guidance of trainees. + Prepare written instructions and organize and report the results of examinations. + Work independently and support team members. + Perform other job-related tasks as needed. **Essential Skills** + NDT Level II or above certification. + Proficiency in Ultrasonic, NDT inspection, and non-destructive testing. + Experience with construction materials testing and nuclear gauge. + Skills in visual inspection, VT, MP, PT, FPI, RT, UT. + Ability to interpret NDT testing specifications and acceptance/rejection criteria. + Experience in the inspection of metal fabrications, pressure vessels, piping, tanks, or gas systems. + Qualified and certified to ASNT-TC-1A in two or more of the following NDT Methods: Visual Examination (VT), Liquid Penetrant (PT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Radiographic Testing (RT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT). + High School diploma or equivalent. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Previous Level II Certification to ASNT-TC-1A with documented objective evidence of classroom and on-the-job training experience. + Certified Level II in Visual Examination (VT), Liquid Penetrant (PT), and Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) is preferred. + Current AWS CWI certification is a plus. **Why Work Here?** We offer competitive salaries plus profit sharing and a full range of benefits for our Team Members, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), tuition reimbursement, paid time off, holidays, a clothing program, a Wellness Program, and opportunities for career growth. **Work Environment** The work environment includes a clean manufacturing facility with government contracts for the next 50+ years, ensuring job stability with no lay-offs.
