Non Destructive Inspector

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a NDT Inspector in Kingsville, TX. As the NDT Level II Inspector, you will work to defined Non-Destructive Testing processes and procedures (fluorescent penetrant, eddy current, and magnetic particle) and in the development of new and emerging processes.

As a Level 2 Non-Destructive Inspector at Rolls-Royce, you will work to defined Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) processes and procedures and help in the development of any new and emerging processes. You will perform inspections of aircraft engine and components with specialized equipment for the detection of faults. In this role, you will Work assignments and priorities coordinated through the Quality/Production Managers, Production Control Coordinator and/or assigned Leads.

Key Accountabilities:
May perform eddy current, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, or ultra-sonic inspection and testing.Maintains efficiency logs and records in accordance with NAMP.Performs modification to equipment as may be required.Interprets codes and other contractual documents that control, select, setup and performs testing and inspection.Ensures that inspection operations in areas of responsibility are conducted in compliance with government instructions and manuals.Documents all work performed using manual and computerized systems in accordance with established procedures and contractual requirements.Basic Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent4+ years’ experience in inspection of gas turbine engine componentsCurrent Level II NDI certification required in Fluorescent penetrant, eddy current and magnetic particle methods of inspection; in lieu of current certification, candidate must possess requisite number of hours to receive immediate qualificationIn order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be eligible to obtain and maintain security clearance, which requires USA CitizenshipPreferred Requirements:
