**Job Title: NDT Inspector** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled NDT Inspector to perform dimensional inspections of parts in accordance with ANSI Y 14-5 and our certified operator program. The ideal candidate will have experience with 5S standards, liquid penetrants, and chemical etch inspection to detect defects such as porosity and cracks, following NAS STD 410 and ASTME 1417 standards. **Responsibilities** + Perform dimensional inspections of parts in accordance with ANSI Y 14-5 and certified operator program. + Set up, adjust, and control electronic equipment for inspections. + Utilize ultraviolet devices to evaluate material contents, bonds, surface and sub-surface flaws, and discontinuities. + Read and interpret complex blueprints and geometric symbols. + Select and use proper measuring devices such as micrometers, calipers, and gages. + Visually and dimensionally inspect parts for conformance and report non-conforming parts, taking appropriate action to address discrepancies. + Maintain all required logs and records, including lab reports and non-conformance reports (NCRs). + Conduct pressure testing and perform local etch prior to re-inspection. + Move materials within the cell and perform part marking. **Essential Skills** + Experience with 5S standards. + Proficiency in liquid penetrants and chemical etch inspections. + Familiarity with NAS STD 410 and ASTME 1417 standards. + Ability to set up, adjust, and control electronic equipment. + Skilled in using ultraviolet devices to evaluate materials. + Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and geometric symbols. + Knowledge of datum callouts and GD&T. + Proficient in selecting and using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gages. + Experience in maintaining accurate documentation and generating reports. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in non-destructive testing (NDT) and fluorescent penetrant inspections. + Ability to detect, evaluate, and report on defects such as porosity and cracks. + Skilled in pressure testing and reporting results. + Familiarity with aerospace processing parts. **Why Work Here?** Join our team and benefit from a supportive and collaborative work environment.
