NDT Inspector
**Job Summary:** The NDT Tech’s role is to perform verification of in-process shop fabrication dimensions based on shop drawings and specifications. Also perform NDT procedures to include MT, UT, and RT testing as applicable. **Essential Functions:** Verifies conformance of product to shop drawings and contract requirements through: + Dimensional checkswith a tape measure to drawings. + Visual inspection of welds, NDT testing to include MT, RT, and UT as applicable. + Setup and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment. + Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of Inspection. + Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict + Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results. + Additional responsibilities or duties may be required as needed in support of company operations. **Quality Standards:** + Must be able to read and understand codes, and specifications. + Will ensure all inspections comply with applicable standards and specifications. **Teamwork:** + Teamwork is essential in this position and the Assistant Shop Superintendent must have a positive attitude and be able to work effectively with all departments, managers, and staff. + Actively participate in Safety meetings and promote company safety culture while working closely with the safety department. **Qualifications:** + An individual must be able to perform each essential duty above average and always represent the company in a professional manner. + The requirements listed are representative of the minimum knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. + Level II MT, RT, and UT (min. of two certifications required). **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $36.00/hr.
