NDT Inspector

Johnson Service Group (JSG). Is seeking a qualified NDT Inspector for the Covington, GA, area. This is the opportunity to work for a growing company
Responsibilities Configure and calibrate nondestructive testing (NDT) equipment. Perform inspections to assess quality and detect defects using NDT
methodologies. Develop and adhere to techniques for examination of objects under inspection. Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications and evaluate
results. Compile and distribute test results and detailed reports. Conduct both general aircraft inspections and specialized composite ultrasonic
testing.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent, some college preferred.
Ability to certify to Archer NDT Level II Certification in ultrasonic testing (UT).
Experience with composite bond line inspections.
?Currently have Electromagnetic testing (ET) and Liquid Penetrant Inspection (PT)
Certification and able to certify to the Archer processes.
?Demonstrated ability to perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of
inspections.
Demonstrated ability to write NDT Inspection Reports
Experience with MES/SAP systems and completing inspection plans
electronically.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment in aerospace or other highly
regulated environments.
Ability to travel 20% of the time.
Bonus Qualifications
? Experience completing first article inspections with working knowledge of the tools required for inspection.
? Experience working with Model Based Definition (MBD) or fully dimensional 3D models.
