NDT Level II Inspector
**Job Title: NDT Level II Inspector** **Job Description** Conduct non-destructive testing on machined metal structural components using magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, and radiographic testing procedures. Identify defects such as fissures, weld breaks, or fractures on metal parts produced within the facility. **Responsibilities** + Set up and calibrate non-destructive testing equipment. + Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using liquid penetrant or other non-destructive testing methods. + Work in other methods as specified. + Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations. + Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results. + Organize and report test results. + Perform other specialized inspections using applicable testing methods. + Discard or reject products, materials, and equipment not meeting specifications. + Read and interpret blueprints, data, manuals, and other materials to determine specifications, inspection and testing procedures, adjustment and certification methods, formulas, and measuring instruments required. + Inspect, test, or measure materials, products, installations, and work for conformance to specifications. + Record inspection or test data, such as weights, temperatures, grades, or moisture content, and quantities inspected. + Mark items with details such as grade and acceptance or rejection status. + Observe and monitor production operations and equipment to ensure conformance to specifications and make or order necessary process or assembly adjustments. + Measure dimensions of products to verify conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such as rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers. **Essential Skills** + NDT Level II certification with 400 hours of on-the-job training. + Experience in Eddy Current testing. + Proficiency with micrometers and calipers. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 2+ years working as a NDT Level II non-destructive quality inspector within the aerospace industry. + Required documentation: 400 hours of OJT hours/records, NDT Level II certification, and Eddy Current testing certification must be sent with resume. **Why Work Here?** You have the opportunity to be hired as a direct hire or as a contract to hire, with the potential for a permanent position after 6 months.
