**Job Title: NDT Radiography Technician II**
**Job Description**
We are seeking an experienced NDT Radiography Technician II to join our team. In this role, you will perform radiographic weld inspections, process hardware according to various requirements, and evaluate the quality of fusion welds, machined, and forged products. You will also provide guidance and mentorship to trainees and Level I technicians.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform proper warm-up and system performance checks of NDT equipment.
+ Maintain daily and monthly logs and applicable records to ensure traceability of components.
+ Interpret and evaluate NDT results with respect to applicable codes, standards, and specifications.
+ Participate in NDT system, customer, internal, and NADCAP audits.
+ Provide on-the-job training and guidance to NDT trainees and Level I personnel.
+ Write work instructions, techniques, and other documentation.
+ Schedule production jobs to meet operational demands.
+ Process and approve SWRs for NDT department inspectors.
+ Provide status updates regarding progress and delays to the NDT Supervisor/Manager.
+ Verify all equipment calibrations are current.
+ Monitor the department for on-time delivery.
+ Comply with other duties as assigned.
+ Overtime may be required to meet production schedules.
**Essential Skills**
+ High School diploma or equivalent.
+ Successful completion of ASNT Level I and II courses.
+ Documentation of completion of required formal classroom training and experience in each NDT method requiring certification.
+ Qualifications based on SNT TC-1A and NAS 410 standards.
+ Familiarity with NDT methods and ability to read and interpret engineering drawings/blueprints.
+ Experience with stainless steel alloys, titanium, and aluminum.
+ Good written and verbal communication skills.
+ Effective interpersonal skills across organizational levels.
+ Ability to lift 50 lbs.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Familiarity with AWS, ASTM, Boeing, Rolls Royce, Lockheed Martin is a plus.
+ Experience with NADCAP audits.

You will be working in a large manufacturing aerospace company with over 500 employees. This is a union shop environment specializing in the design, development, and manufacture of ducting systems for aircraft and propulsion lines for rockets. Our products are installed on virtually every major commercial, military, and space vehicle.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Permanent position based out of Los Alamitos, California.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $56160.00 - $68640.00/yr.
