NDT Technician
**Job Title: NDT Tech** **Job Description** Verify conformance of product to shop drawings and contract requirements through dimensional checks with a tape measure for drawings, visual inspection of welds, and NDT testing including MT, RT, and UT as applicable. **Responsibilities** + Perform dimensional checks using a tape measure to ensure drawings meet specifications. + Conduct visual inspections of welds. + Execute NDT testing, including Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Radiographic Testing (RT), and Ultrasonic Testing (UT). + Ensure all products conform to shop drawings and contract requirements. **Essential Skills** + NDT Level II certification + Experience in welding and inspection + Proficiency in UT, MP, RT, and other NDT methods + Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification is a plus + Ability to read and interpret blueprints + Strong skills in quality control and testing **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 2+ years of experience with x-ray, ultrasonic, and mag particle testing + Experience in a fabrication shop is essential + CWI certification is advantageous **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required: candidates must provide hard hats and steel-toed or strap-up leather boots, while ear and eye protection will be provided. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gibsonton, Florida. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $36.00/hr.
