Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
**Overview** ​ **CHI Health** is seeking to add a **Neonatal Nurse Practitioner** to the experienced group at **CHI St. Elizabeth** in **Lincoln, Nebraska.** **The Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) is responsible for providing direct clinical care in a Neonatal ICU inpatient setting and conducts medical histories, performs complete physical examinations, initiates appropriate lab, radiology tests and other special tests required for evaluation. Performs routine and specialized procedures as credentialed. May prescribe and monitor medications. Participates in medical team rounds and collaborates with physicians, nursing and other medical personnel. Educates patient families and answers questions regarding their disease, treatments, related drug and treatment side effects and hazards. Refers patients to specialists as appropriate.
