Responsibilities & Requirements

Job Responsibility:

To perform with a high degree of competency all clinical aspects of respiratory care for all age groups IPPB/IPPV and other deep breathing maneuversHumidity and aerosol systemsMedical gas systemsVentilator preparation, management and trouble shooting for adult and pediatric patientsPostural drainage and percussionArterial blood gas puncture analysis and interpretationNon-invasive blood gas monitoring systemsInfection control proceduresCPAPBronchoscopy assist

Job Requirements:

Must have at least 1 year of NICU experienceRegistered Respiratory TherapistLicensed Respiratory Care Practitioner from the State of Ohio.ACLS and BLSGraduate of Associate degree or higher accredited Respiratory Care programMinimum one year practice as a Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner preferredNRP preferred or within 3 months of hire
