Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Neonatologist to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln. Lincoln is a New York State approved Level III Perinatal Center. Some newborns are born high-risk, requiring immediate medical care. Lincoln's Perinatal Center offers specialized services to address the complex health needs of these babies. Located just 15 minutes from NYC, Lincoln is an acute care teaching hospital academically affiliated with Weill Medical College of Cornell University.

Neonatologist Duties:
Analyze and interpret patient’s laboratory data, x-rays, ultrasounds, and other diagnostic imaging studies Develop and implement treatment plans Provide education, counseling, and support to the parents on infant and child development Perform scheduled newborn exams and medical evaluations Review and develop hospital policies and procedures Review and revise treatment plans as necessary Advise parents about the results of these evaluations Specialize in neonatal conditions Bariatric or Neonatal (3+yrs) Previous NICU or Peds NICU experience – preferred Willingness to precept nursing students Experience in QI Knowledge of NICU equipment or procedures Provide medical support for newborns, infants, and pediatric patients Develop and implement medical management plans, work with specialists, and provide follow-up care for patients of all ages Lead medical staff meetings, and instruct interns, residents, and other staff Evaluate patients and order tests Manage patient care plans, including preparation of reports, ordering of equipment, and prescription of therapies Perform neonatal resuscitation, including endotracheal intubation and ventilator management Maintain close communication with families Conduct pediatric exams, including weight, height, and developmental assessment Perform routine cardiologic and pulmonary evaluations of newborns Manage on-call schedule in the event of an emergency Manage medical records of newborns, infants, and pediatric patients Perform physical examinations, including airway, respiratory, cardiac, and neurologic assessment Perform procedures.
