Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Neonatologist to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem. Harlem is a Level III Neonatal ICU with 15 beds which provides care to preemies 22 weeks and onwards. NICU services include bubble CPAP, conventional and high-frequency ventilators, and nitric oxide, and have subspecialty services of Pediatrics surgery, cardiology, ophthalmology, genetics, neurology, and infectious disease. The hospital maintains an academic affiliation with Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons.

Opportunity Details:
Clinical responsibility - attending to high risk deliveries and manage preterm and full term newborns Precepting and supervising interns and residents - faculty participates in hospital and department subcommittees which include both clinical, quality improvement and resident education subcommittee Responsible to supervise residents’ clinical performance and lead a bedside discussion and provide formal lecture to residents Diagnosis and management of patients in Neonatal ICU in Harlem Hospital, a level 3 NICU Call Schedule: Calls are scheduled 80 hours per 2 week cycle (average 40 hours per week) which include day and night and weekend call Excellent work-life balance with defined clinical work hour, administrative exposure and opportunity to participate in quality improvement projects
