NetOps Specialist Mid
Description NetOps Specialist have TWO classifications with the Marine Force Reserve Network Activity Res (NOSC R and Admin). This position sits within the NOSCR which serves as a Watch Office for the Marine Corps Enterprise Network (MCEN) Reserve Sites across the country. Tracking outages, resolution, and solutioning with site technician for Layer 1 Connectivity Projects and Problem. REQUIRED EDUCATION: -High school Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) REQUIRED EXPERIENCE -5-9 years IT experience CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: + Security+CE + Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) CUSTOMER JOB DESCRIPTION -Monitor the infrastructure and network, responding appropriately to alerts and events. -Respond to incidents from triage through resolution, including escalations, where appropriate. -Respond to infrastructure repairs, including directing remote activities to maintain operational effectiveness for services. -Provide root cause analysis documentation in accordance with Government procedures. -Provide data center support where appropriate. -Document daily shift activities in appropriate reporting and ticketing tools and ensure proper pass down of any outstanding issues. -Provide incident notification to Government representatives.
