Job Description

We are seeking a Network Administrator for a contract-to-hire role in Littleton, CO.   In this exciting role, you will be responsible for:

• Provide network support for data center, lab, and user community moves, adds, changes, and troubleshooting

• Daily operational responsibility for reliability of the network, 99.999% uptime

 • Monitors ongoing availability of network services and processes.   

 • Work with engineering team in a fast paced environment to ensure their needs are met

• Document network setup and maintain drawings as changes are made

 • Support Cisco Call Manager 11.x moves, adds, and changes for all internal users

 • Troubleshoot Cisco Jabber softphone installation, authentication, and end-user problems.

  • Troubleshoot SIP call delivery for internal and external calls

• Will focus on campus wide adds moves and changes throughout the facility to include MDF/IDF patching, customer support for voice/data/video applications

• Conference room support to include new build, design, implementation, maintenance and customer support

• Datacenter implementations to include racking/stacking,  dress and secure cabling, mounting hardware into server equipment racks

• Working on Data Center design and layouts paying strong attention to detail on daily documentation

• Directly responsible for cabling within the MDF/IDF areas

• Responsible for laser optimized fiber routing and dressing,  multi-mode and single-mode polished fiber routing/implementation and documentation

 

QualificationsMinimum 3 years of experience as a Network AdministratorExtensive knowledge of TCP/IP, VLAN/VXLAN, VRF, QoS, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP as well as MPLS connectivity/architectureKnowledge of Cisco routers, wireless and switches (Cisco IOS, IOS-XE, NX-OS)Practical experience related to LAN, WAN, DMVPN, and P2P, preferably in a large MPLS environmentBroad technical knowledge of Cisco networking technologies and platforms to include ASAs, Nexus 7/5/2k, ASR 1k and 9k, vPC, OTV, and VDC configurationFamiliarity with firewalls, GTM (F5), proxy, IPS/IDS principles, and Cloud connectivity are a plusCertifications in Cat5/6 or fiber optics installations are preferred but does not need to be current
