Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS BY LEVEL:
SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR III
Under general direction, responsible for activities related to system administrationAssigns personnel to various projects, directs their activities, and evaluates their workEnsures long-term requirements of systems operations and administration are included in the overall information systems planning of the organizationProvides in-depth experience in troubleshooting IT systemsInterpret and/or discuss information with others, which involves terminology or concepts not familiar to many people; regularly provide advice and recommend actions involving rather complex issuesMay resolve problems within established practicesProvides detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated ticketsSupports the design of systems, mission architecture and associated hardwareDirects and possesses a working knowledge and understanding of systems administration interdependencies as part of the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)Analyzes and resolves complex problems associated with server hardware, applications and software integrationResponsible for the installation, maintenance, configuration, and integrity of computer softwareImplements operating system enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the system Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
I-IV: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related experienceITIL v4 IAT-IIEducation/experience in one of the following: SQL, Windows Server 2016/2019, VMware, Linux
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED BY LEVEL:
III: 7 – 12 Years
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires the ability to perform the below essential functions:
