Credence Management Solutions, LLC, is seeking a Network Administrator who will be primarily responsible for supporting the Air Force Institute of Technology School of Engineering and Management (AFIT/EN) at Wright Patterson AFB, OH.
AFIT's Graduate School of Engineering and Management focuses on high-quality graduate education and research. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below Manage the day-to-day IT operations of the Center’s teaching and research laboratories. Provide classroom IT laboratory support for cyber-attack and exploitation courses. Develops laboratory exercises for cyber professional continuing education curricula. Provide network solutions as well as support of all hardware/software needs and configurations requested by students, faculty, and staff within the Center, as well as equipment custodian duties. Responsible to maintain and operate the Video Teleconference (VTC) systems.Configure VMware Distributed Resource Scheduler (DRS) to balance the load from tens to hundreds of virtual machines across all of the hosts on the cluster. Education, Requirements and Qualifications Clearance: TS/SCIMaster’s degree in Computer Science, or related field with Security + or Network + orBachelor’s degree with Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certificationTen years of DoD and private sector experience in information security, computer networking, and system administrationPoficiency in system administration and computer networking to include administering LANs, troubleshooting systems, and hardware/software deploymentExperienced in configuring and maintaining a VMware software and vCenter server clusterProficiency in system security administration for Microsoft Windows (all versions), Mac OS X, Linux/Unix, BSD Unix operating systems, Apple iOS, and Android OSProficiency in network design and configuration: Cisco routers, switches, wireless access points, NAM and ASASMIntrusion detection/preventionDomain controllers, DHCP, and DNS serversNetwork attached storage devices/File serversApplication/license serversNTP serversProficiency in VMware vCenter server cluster:Configure and maintain a VMware vCenter Server cluster of at least 14 physical hostsConfigure Link Aggregation Control Protocol (LACP) for load balancing network traffic to each host of the clusterConfigure permissions and roles for users on the cluster based on user needs and which virtual machines the user needs to accessConfigure Virtual Storage Area Network (VSAN) for use as a storage data store on the clusterConfigure at least three separate external storage servers as internet Small Computer System Interface (iSCSI) targets to be used as data stores for the clusterProficiency in hardware and software configuration and support: Troubleshoot and repair hardware problems on different form factors including workstations, desktops, laptops, rack mount servers, and tablets/mobile devicesInstallation and configuration of Operating Systems (OS) including Microsoft Windows (all versions), Mac OS X, Linux/Unix, BSD, Apple iOS, and Android OSWork with Windows Deployment Services/Microsoft Deployment Toolkit to create and mass deploy custom Windows installs over the networkRecover data from corrupt/failing hard drives using Forensic Toolkit (FTK) or Encase softwareProficiency working with VTC systems:Tandberg and Polycom systemsEstablish point-to-point or multipoint calls using direct dialing or scheduling through the DVS web schedulerMake classified calls with the use of a KIV-7M and correct encryption keyPerform Over the Air Rekey (OTAR) process to update encryption keys for KIV-7MTroubleshoot problems before, during, and after callsExpert with DVS-WS online scheduling Proficiency in asset management and tracking:WASP® (brand of barcode /Scanners) Mobile Asset softwarePerform yearly inventory auditsTrack where an asset is and who it is checked out to as well as when it is due backGather quotes and write justifications for new equipment purchasesReceive new equipment/assets and add them to the inventory system Working Conditions and Physical Requirements May be required to lift 50 lbs.May be required to travel within the organizational geographic area of responsibilitySome travel may be required Options Apply for this job onlineApplyShareEmail this job to a friendRefer Sorry the Share function is not working properly at this moment.
