What You Will Be Doing
As a Network Administrator for the Greenville Site Operations Team, you will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and supporting network infrastructure to ensure reliable and secure operations. This role involves managing network hardware and software, including switches, routers, and UPS systems, while also overseeing user account management, access permissions, and security protocols. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, implement network upgrades, and ensure compliance with corporate and industry standards. Additionally, you will support IT development projects, such as cabling installations, infrastructure upgrades, and new facility network setups. This role offers an opportunity to make a direct impact on the efficiency and security of critical business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, install, and maintain network hardware and software, including switches, routers, and UPS systems.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and security settings, ensuring proper access control and compliance.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and implement necessary upgrades or repairs.
- Ensure compliance with industry and corporate network security standards.
- Maintain an accurate asset inventory and coordinate procurement for necessary network equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT infrastructure needs and resolve technical challenges.
- Implement and support IT development projects, such as cabling work, end-of-life equipment replacements, infrastructure renovations, and new facility network setups.
- Document network configurations, updates, and procedures for ongoing maintenance and future planning.
- Proactively identify and address potential network vulnerabilities, ensuring a secure and reliable IT environment.

You take pride in maintaining accurate documentation, keeping asset inventories up to date, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Problem-solving is second nature to you, and you are always looking for ways to improve network performance and efficiency.

Basic Qualifications:
The following Basic Qualifications are skills that a candidate must possess to be considered for this position:
• LAN/WAN technology and local architecture experience.
• Experience configuring and securing network devices according to policy.
• Knowledge of network connectivity and port activations.
• Experience with troubleshooting and clearing site network alarms.
• Network asset procurement and management and inventory maintenance experience
• At least 5 years work experience.
Desired Skills:
The following Desired Skills are not required but are those skills that would set a candidate apart from the other candidates:
• Knowledge of Cisco devices and IOS.
• Ability to terminate and test network cables/connections.
• Knowledge of LM IFF initiatives.
• Experience with procurement system(s) for acquiring new network equipment.
• Knowledge of installing, configuring and maintaining RFID equipment.
• Troubleshoot and clear user IP phone and data issues with aid of various test equipment.
• Work with and escort vendor technicians.
