Job description

Infosys is seeking a Network Administrator with CISCO Routing & Switching and WLAN . This role requires close partnership and collaboration with other Engineers and Subject Matter Experts.

Required Qualifications: Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Detroit, MI or be willing to relocate to these areas. This position may require travel in the US.Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.At Least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.At least 3 years of experience as Network administrator with Cisco Routing & Switching and WLAN, Experience in Datacenter network. Ability to design, architect and implement network solutions in Data center and remote sites.Ability to conduct periodic network audits and periodic reviews to assess policy adherence.Ability to mentor Network operations team to troubleshoot existing networks, identifying and correcting technical issues.All applicants authorized to work in the United States are encouraged to apply.Preferred Qualifications:Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.Good Communication and Analytical skills.Cisco certified Network Professional (CCNP R&S or CCNP Data Center) or higherAbility to provide ON call support as required on a rotating basis• Ability to mitigate vulnerabilities and participate in disaster recovery planning and simulation exercises.Recommend process improvements to existing operational support modelsExperience with ITSM processes.Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.The job entails extensive amount of travel. The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
