We focus on recruiting talented, self-motivated employees that strive to find a way to get things done. Join our team of experts as we support national security! Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Network Administrator to manage and maintain our organization’s IT network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting network systems to ensure high availability, security, and performance. This role requires expertise in networking hardware, protocols, security best practices, and troubleshooting methodologies.Key Responsibilities:Design, install, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, VPNs, and wireless networks.Monitor network performance, security, and connectivity using tools like SolarWinds, Nagios, or Wireshark.Administer firewalls, routers, switches, and access points (Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, Fortinet, Palo Alto).Implement and maintain network security measures (firewall rules, VLANs, intrusion detection/prevention).Manage DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP configurations, and subnetting.Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for network outages and performance issues.Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and incident logs.Work closely with system administrators, security teams, and helpdesk staff to support end-users and enterprise IT needs.Implement network upgrades, patches, and firmware updates.Manage and monitor VoIP systems and remote access solutions.Plan for capacity scaling, disaster recovery, and failover strategies.Required Skills & Qualifications:5+ years of experience in network administration, engineering, or a related role.Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, VPNs).Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, or other networking equipment.Proficiency in firewall management and intrusion prevention systems.Experience with wireless networking (Cisco Meraki, Aruba, UniFi).Knowledge of network automation tools (Ansible, Python, PowerShell).Ability to work in an agile and fast-paced environment.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Preferred Qualifications:Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, Network+, or Security+.Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP).Familiarity with virtualization and SD-WAN technologies.Knowledge of SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, and Zero Trust security models.
