Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Network Administrator in the Construction/Contractor industry based in Sylmar, California. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing both on-site and remote technical support, maintaining IT assets, and staying updated on the latest technologies. This role will also involve collaboration with our IT team to ensure the smooth running of our network operations. Responsibilities: • Deliver technical support to end-users within the headquarters and remote job sites in California. • Identify, troubleshoot, and rectify issues related to hardware, software, and network. • Manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer workstations, peripherals, and network equipment. • Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of new job sites, which includes setting up network infrastructure, internet connectivity, and user onboarding. • Monitor system performance proactively and detect potential issues in advance. • Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT assets and support activities. • Work in collaboration with the IT team to develop and uphold IT policies and procedures. • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices to ensure the most effective systems are in place. • Manage configuration and deployment of Cisco Routers, Citrix Technologies, and Dell Technologies. • Maintain firewall technologies and active directory, and ensure regular backups. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Network Administrator or in a similar role. • Proficient in managing Cisco Routers and Cisco Technologies. • Extensive experience with Citrix Technologies. • Familiarity with Dell Technologies is required. • Proficiency in Firewall Technologies to ensure network security. • Experience managing Active Directory. • Knowledge of Backup Technologies for data recovery and protection. • Ability to troubleshoot and repair Computer Hardware. • Experience in Configuration Management to ensure network system consistency. • Demonstrated experience in Deployments of network systems and technologies.
