Description Network Administrator Representing a Minnesota based client seeking a Network Administrator on a permanent basis. This is a fully on-site role located in Eagan, MN. Candidates must be local and open to on-site work daily. Responsibilities: • Manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware, including but not limited to routers, switches, firewalls, and access points. • Implement and uphold network security protocols, such as firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems. • Collaborate with other IT teams to support server infrastructure, cloud networking, and virtualization technologies. • Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and take appropriate action to ensure systems are functioning optimally. • Develop and maintain thorough documentation for network configurations, procedures, and policies. • Manage user access and permissions to ensure secure and efficient network usage. • Assist in the planning and implementation of disaster recovery to ensure business continuity. • Evaluate and recommend network improvements, upgrades, and new technologies. • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT staff. • Perform routine network maintenance, updates, and patches to address vulnerabilities. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Network Administrator role or similar position within the IT Services industry • Proficiency in working with Cisco Routers and Cisco Technologies • Expertise in Firewall Technologies, specifically Palo Alto Firewall • Experience with Active Directory management and operations • Knowledge of Backup Technologies and best practices for data protection • Solid understanding of Computer Hardware and related troubleshooting • Skills in Configuration Management, ensuring system performance and security • Experience in Deployments, including planning, testing, and executing • Familiarity with Cisco Access Points and their management • Possession of Cisco CCNA and Cisco CCNP certifications is a plus • Familiarity with Juniper network technologies and products Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
