CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Network Administrator II to join our Corporate – IT Team at our Albany, NY office.

YOUR IMPACT

CHA's corporate support teams provide vital specialized services to our technical business lines and market teams including, financial, legal, marketing, business development, human resources, information technology and operational services.  These teams may also support clients when their skills and expertise are required.

 

The Network Administrator II will be responsible for the daily administration and maintenance of CHA’s Network Operations Systems. This includes managing network and server hardware, network operating systems, applications, storage, virtual environments, performance issues, account management, and security. The professional in this role will work closely with our Network Operations Team in troubleshooting, isolating, and resolving network issues, documenting network topologies and configurations, and making design recommendations for network systems and security. Occasional travel to other company offices is required.

REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems preferred, or equivalent combination of education and professional experienceMinimum of 7 years of relevant experience in Network Administration required Minimum of 5 years of technical lead experience on projects demonstrating successful project planning, documentation, implementation, and cost analysisMinimum of 3 years of technical support experience, directly supporting end usersLAN/WAN administration experience in a Microsoft enterprise environment Experience administering VMware, Meraki, Aruba, System Center, Azure, Office365, Teams, SharePointKnowledge of network hardware (i.e. servers, switches, routers, etc.) in an Ethernet topologyDemonstrates an ongoing personal history of professional development and learningMust be trustworthy and able to work independently as well as within a team environmentStrong documentation skills requiredProficient in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and AccessExperience in a professional services firm preferred Microsoft premier, expert level certification preferredDesktop level certification (deploying, managing) preferredNetwork certification preferred (Network+, CCNA or equivalent) SALARY RANGE:

$74,000 - $88,000

 

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
