Network Administrator Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD – 100% onsite Must have an active Secret Clearance Must be Security+ certified (IAT II) Major Duties & Responsibilities: • Perform daily research and evaluation of network technologies to complete analysis and installation of network infrastructure to support customer requirements. • Develop and maintain diagrams of the network infrastructure and connectivity. • Build and upgrade LANs and WANs. • Perform capacity planning, configuration and version management, performance engineering, and troubleshooting. • Develop, test, and implement new LAN/WAN applications and hardware. • Identify, research, and resolve complex network problems or situations. • Provide guidance for development and improvement of network capabilities. • Evaluate, test, and document network software releases and hardware upgrades. • Provide Tier 3 support, including maintenance of data center network-related hardware, software, and network tools. • Enforce network standards. • Work with customer base to ensure reported problems are resolved or answered in a timely manner. • Develop processes and procedures to ensure all engineering concerns are resolved and tracked. Qualifications: • 4+ years experience in a network administration role. • Bachelor’s degree in a related field. • Must be Security+ CE certified or hold an equivalent certification in compliance with DoD 8570 IAT Level II. • Must have experience in a lead or supervisory role. • Experience in computer networking operations, configuration, management and maintenance. • Experience with Cisco Software Defined Access, Digital Network Architecture, Cisco Identity Services Engine, TCP/IP, firewalls, routing, VLANs, VRF’s, general network troubleshooting, and management of a production environment with the following experience: automated install, automated build and deployment, automated configuration management, enterprise monitoring systems, performance and network monitoring tools, operating systems upgrades and migrations, strong troubleshooting skills with hardware and software, routing protocols BGP, EIGRP and OSPF, Layer 2, and Cisco VSS, VSP. • Able to interact professionally with all levels of an organization. • Must have an active Secret clearance. #M2 System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé, ALTA IT Services, CM Access, TPGS, and MOUNTAIN, LTD., are leaders in delivering workforce solutions and integrated services across North America.
