A leading academic medical center in Chicago, Illinois is seeking a seasoned Network Architect with extensive campus network experience. This is a full-time position overseeing a massive network infrastructure that includes over 1,000 campus switches and 200+ data center switches. The environment features state-of-the-art Cisco technology, including Nexus, Catalyst, Catalyst Center, and DNA Center/ACI implementations. This role sits at the heart of a dynamic healthcare institution where technology enables life-saving care.

Required Skills & Experience Bachelor's Degree with 7 years of networking experience (or Associate's degree with 9 years) Deep expertise with Cisco campus technologies (Catalyst switches, DNA Center) Extensive experience with data center networking (Nexus switches, ACI) Proven experience managing large-scale campus networks (1000+ switches) Strong background in data center operations (200+ switches) Expert-level knowledge in network protocols (EIGRP, BGP, HSRP, VOIP, QOS, etc.) Experience with security devices (F5, Firepower, Juniper, Palo Alto, ASA) Track record of successful large-scale network migrations and refresh projects Desired Skills & Experience CCNP certification Azure and AWS cloud networking experience Data center consolidation project experience Healthcare IT experience Project management experience What You Will Be Doing
