Overview:\n

The AFINC III contract supporting the 26th\u202fNetwork Operations Squadron (26NOS) is seeking qualified Joint Regional Security Stack (JRSS) Engineer. The JRSS team oversees an enterprise DoD environment supporting the USAF that requires a unique and dynamic skill set.\u202f\n
\n

Experience Required:\n\n7+ years' of experience with: designing, installing, configuring, upgrading, patching, and hardening routers\/switches, serial consoles, load balancers, and switches\nAnalyzes and simulates network traffic to aide in problem resolution or to test updated configurations in virtual or physical lab environments\nOptimizes, oversees, and supports Enterprise communications networks including overlaying security technologies\nMonitor and test network performance and provide network performance statistics, reports, and recommended fix actions\nResponsible for network and security controls design review implementation and troubleshooting of IT security including hardware and software appliances\nEvaluate Cloud offerings and provides recommendations to leadership for improved mission effectiveness, cost effectiveness, and operational efficiencies\nMonitors systems utilization and circuit bandwidth then reports anomalies to Government team leads\nDevelop, execute, modify or remove scripts to assist in automation of tasks, as possible\nReview and document all workload activities per incident or change request to eliminate rework or for auditing\/investigation purposes\nDeep level of understanding\/experience with enterprise level network architectures\/configurations is required and Software Defined Networking (SDN) is desired\nNotify appropriate Information Technical Equipment Custodian (ITEC) or Property Custodian (PC), in writing, within 4 hours for all accountable item moves\nNeatly bundle and conceal all excess system or peripheral cabling after each installation or repair\n\n

Education Required:\n\nHigh School diploma or GED\n\n

Clearance Required:\n\nTS\/SCI Eligible\n\n

Certifications Required:\n\nIAT - II\nCCNP Collaboration\nCCNP Data Center\nCCNP Enterprise\nCCNP Service Provider\n\n

Preferred Certifications :\n\nCCIE Enterprise Infrastructure\nCCIE Service Provider\nCCIE Data Center\nCCIE Collaboration\n\n
