This position supports a Government contract. Job Description: We are currently seeking Collaboration Engineer/Admin Washington, D.C. The selected candidate must be a US Citizen (without dual citizenship) and able to obtain a Public Trust Suitability clearance, per contract requirements. The SEC ISS program is a comprehensive IT program charged with operating, managing, and advancing the SEC's IT infrastructure. Our client's dynamic program team of IT leaders and large and small business partners is seeking bright, energetic and talented individuals to join us as we bring our innovative IT Service Delivery solutions to SEC. Job Duties: -Performs day-to-day activities required to manage AV/VTC systems and Collaboration services, such as implementation and management, to include troubleshooting of complex network issues. -Provides installation and break/fix support to all AV/VTC/Collaboration infrastructure components. -Basic system administration and configuration (network, security, management, SNMP, NTP, backups, diagnostics, reports, etc.) -Communication between CMS and Cisco Unified Communication Manager (CUCM) -View active calls, check cluster status, other basic operations tasks -Expressway administration, fraudulent call checks, basic troubleshooting -Adding or modifying an endpoint -Perform and verify backups -Gather reports for distribution and review by senior team members and client -Basic endpoint configuration and administration Required Experience: -Must have 1-3 years of experience inbackend collaboration and AV/VTC/VoIP infrastructures,to include implementing and managing AV/VTC/VoIP and related collaboration equipment. -Must understand fundamentals of IP addressing, subnetting, default gateways Layer 2 switching, trunking, VoIP network connections -Layer 3 routing - Basics of routing protocols likeOSPF, BGP(important to SIP trunking) -Must possess skills and knowledge in managing, and troubleshooting complex collaboration services based on AV/VTC/VoIP technologies and components. -Must be US Citizen (without dual citizenship)with the ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
