We’re looking for an experienced Network Delivery Product Owner to join our ever-evolving Product & Technology Development team to help us unleash the potential of every business.
About the team
Worldpay powers 2.2 trillion payments annually across 146 countries in over 135 separate currencies with over a million-merchants supported globally. Worldpay is the largest acquirer by volume globally, we provide a reliable, secure, and scalable payments platform 24x7 365 day a year.
Being part of the organization, you’ll help to engineer and deliver the core infrastructure services that power our payments platform. We’re responsible for running some very critical systems, hosted from our data centers and public cloud.
What you'll own
As the Network Delivery Product Owner, you will serve as the primary liaison between the technical delivery team and business stakeholders, ensuring that delivery requests are met and communicated within the specified Service Level Agreements (SLAs). You will ensure that the Network is a service that meets the business’s requirements. Collaborating closely with engineers and requesters, you will work to streamline the process and identify areas for improvement. As a strategic thinker, you must be able to envision the broader context and explore ways to enhance and automate processes. You will work closely with the Network Tools and Automation team to do this.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements, translating them into functional specifications. Manage and prioritise the backlog, defining acceptance criteria.
Collaborate with the team to design innovative solutions that address business challenges and align with strategic goals. Identify and recommend process optimisation improvements.
Serve as the primary contact for stakeholders, providing updates, managing expectations, and ensuring team alignment. Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Create and maintain detailed delivery documentation, including requirements, process flows, and use cases.
Develop a strategic mindset and explore opportunities to enhance the network’s service offerings to the business.
Follows documented network service processes and procedures, identifying gaps and suggesting improvements.
Monitors, responds and provides resolution for all network delivery requests.
What you bring
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in network delivery and operations.
Hands on experience with Cisco/Juniper.
Strong understanding of networking protocols and security principles.
Hands-on experience with network automation and scripting would be a bonus
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, JNCIP) are highly desirable.
