In support of a DISA prototyping effort, the Intel and Cyber Division is assembling a team of network engineers, systems engineers, Unified Communications Engineers, and Integration Engineers, change management specialists, information assurance professionals, and procurement personnel knowledgeable in SCRM processes to support a program that provides critical network capabilities to the Department of Defense. * Ability to meet or exceed DODD 8140/8570 IAT Level 3 requirements, to include CE certification Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification Experience with a broad range of Cisco products Understanding of internetworking routing protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, VPLS, DMVPN, EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, VRRP, HSRP, NHRP) Experience with network security concepts, best practices, and technologies including, but not limited to, SSH, IPSec, RADIUS, TACACS, firewall policies, and 802.1x Experience installing and administering network and systems equipment Experience conducting network design testing and evaluation Experience with remote network operations and optimization Demonstrated knowledge of interconnection of multiple IP telephony systems via LAN and WAN connections Experience with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook, and SharePoint. Exceptional attention to detail; excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong organizational skills; critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment. Ability to travel up to 25%.
