What you’ll do:

Install, configure, and provide maintenance for network equipment including routers, switches, SD WAN, Wireless AP and Controllers, and FirewallsDesign and implement network solutionsMonitor network performance and troubleshooting to improve network optimizationInterface with vendors including Verizon, ATT, Spectrum, and LumensCreate and implement network security measures by establishing and enforcing policies and defining and monitoring accessIP address auditingSwitch port configurational support including segmented LAN (VLAN) and VoiceProvide secure connectivity between Internet and internal network utilizing firewallsCoordination of cable installationWeekly 24 hour on call rotationMay assist with administering video conferencing systems and presentation toolsWork with the various IT teams and plant staff to accomplish tasks and departmental goals

What you need to have:

Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Computers, or related field experience5+ plus years of relevant experience with demonstrable experience with Cisco Switches, static and dynamic routing, and wireless as well as familiarity with communication and routing protocolsAbility to create ACLs, TCP/IP subnetting, and VLAN trunkingKnowledge of Quality of Service or QoS, WAN, optical technologies, Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers, Cisco Switches, Palo Alto NextGen Firewalls, and knowledge familiarity with network monitoring solutions such as Solarwinds, PRTG, or ManageEngineWork independently or collectively with a team
