Interact with network services, software systems engineering, and/or applications development to restore service and/or identify and correct core problems. Simulate or recreate IT problems to resolve operating difficulties. Recommend systems modifications to reduce environment problems. Record, track and document the problem-solving process for each ticket, including steps taken through to final resolution. Provide hardware, software and networking support.Diagnose and troubleshoot advanced network issues. Apply diagnostic utilities to aid in troubleshooting and test fixes prior to closing tickets to ensure problems are adequately resolved. Use problem management database and help desk system. May provide guidance/training for business unit. Maintain currency and high level of technical skill in field of expertise. Prioritize issues and escalate more complex problems to second level support, senior level, or supervisor as needed. *EDUCATION: *Bachelor's degree in computer science, business or a related field; or a combination of post high school and equal experience may be substituted for education.* * *EXPERIENCE: *5 or more years technical experience working in a field services or networking environment. Must havea vast knowledge of and experience delivering technical capabilities across multiple technologies/platforms; experience working with multiple 3rdparty vendors/support services.** *TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY: *Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams and Sharepoint.
