To join our team of outstanding professionals, apply today! **Responsibilities** + Designs, configures, tests, implements and maintains telecommunications capabilities, including wide area and local area networks. Performs operations and support activities. + Assists applications programmers working in the telecommunications environment. + Evaluates network changes for operational impact. + Evaluates network performance and resolves network and processor problems. + Familiar with hardware and software diagnostic tools. + Primary escalation point technology issues that are unable to be resolved by Tier-1 and Tier-2 support staff. + Responsible for advanced troubleshooting of supported services. + Provide training to Tier-1 and Tier-2 Support Technicians. + Perform daily shift-driven tasks assigned by the Technology Lead. + Troubleshooting and configuration of customer issues. + Database administration and development. + Performing server repairs. + Problem solving involving network and infrastructure. + Maintaining Cloud centric updates. + Developing and deploying customer approved solutions to new problems. **Qualifications** + 5+ years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Higher education and/or experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified may be interchangeable on a year for year basis. Knowledge of a wide range of computer systems software, applications, hardware, networking, and communications. + Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. + All the qualifications of Tier 1 and 2. + Active Secret Clearance. + Knowledge in networking: standard internet protocols and ports, network monitoring and analysis tools, configuration of network devices (switches, routers, firewalls). + Knowledge of Linux: system and network configuration, software installation, troubleshooting, bash scripting, etc. + Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows: system and network configuration, registry, software installation, troubleshooting, scripting, Active Directory, etc. + Good understanding of: DNS, Web proxies, Email servers, mail protocols, Web categorization, Web protocols, Anti-Spam and Anti-Malware solutions. + High motivation for innovation and ability to explore and drive new ideas and technologies, think and learn independently. + 3+ years of experience in tech support. + Experience with virtualization infrastructure, private and public: VMWare, Hyper-V, AWS, Azure, or Rackspace - advantage. + Programming or scripting experience – advantage. + Associate's degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
