Network Engineer
Description We are in search of a Network Engineer to join our team in BENSALEM, Pennsylvania. The new team member will be tasked with monitoring and maintaining our company networks, ensuring secure and efficient operations. This role involves managing both software and hardware solutions, reporting network incidents, and recommending enhancements to our network security policies. Responsibilities: • Monitor company networks, identifying and rectifying any issues that could compromise service quality. • Configure and maintain software and hardware solutions used for network monitoring and problem resolution. • Report network outages or vulnerabilities to the management team promptly. • Provide strategic advice to the management team on resolving network issues and implementing best practices. • Recommend additions or changes to company network security policies based on industry trends and company needs. • Enforce company network security initiatives to ensure secure and smooth operations. • Report any instances of unauthorized network usage and security issues. • Ensure that network access, including remote access, is only granted to authorized personnel and maintain comprehensive access logs. • Oversee the configuration and design of the company's LAN and WAN networks. • Maintain hardware and software components of LAN and WAN switches, routers, and other associated equipment. • Collaborate with operations staff and vendor support to resolve network issues as they arise. Requirements • Proficient in Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) • Experience with Checkpoint technology • Expertise in working with Cisco ASA and Cisco Routers • Familiarity with Cisco Technologies • Knowledge of AB Testing techniques • Experience with Backup Technologies • Understanding of Computer Hardware • Proficient in Configuration Management • Experience in managing and maintaining Datacenter • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment • Excellent problem-solving skills • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred • Relevant detail oriented certifications are a plus.
