Kforce has a client in Orlando, FL that is seeking a Network Engineer who will design, implement, and maintain an organization's networks to ensure they are stable, secure, and running efficiently. Responsibilities: * Plan, design, and develop local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) * Design system configurations and document the installation of new networks * Install and configure network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and virus protection software * Perform routine maintenance, apply software updates, and install upgrades and service packs * Optimize configurations to improve performance and efficiency * Troubleshoot and resolve network hardware and software problems * Monitor network security and performance, and take action to stop problems * Provide remote or on-site customer and technical support * Train junior employees and provide training resources for team members * Collaborate with clients, other tech support services, and network providers to ensure the quality of networks * Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with industry standards
