Description We are offering a contract for a permanent position as a Network Engineer in North Central San Antonio, Texas. This role operates within the industry, providing an essential service in maintaining and designing network configurations. The workplace is fast-paced, requiring the efficient and accurate processing of customer applications and inquiries. Responsibilities • Implement and maintain WAN design, ensuring optimal network performance. • Utilize Cisco Layer 2 and 3 for various networking tasks. • Handle networking engineering tasks with efficiency and precision. • Assist in resolving customer inquiries related to network issues. • Operate and manage routers and switches, enhancing network connectivity. • Use Cisco Products effectively for diverse networking needs. • Ensure the maintenance of accurate customer credit records. • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions as needed. • Play a crucial role in LAN - Local Area Network operations. • Contribute to Network Design projects, enhancing network efficiency and functionality. Requirements • Applicant must possess a minimum of one year experience in a Network Engineer role or a related position. • Proficiency in using Cisco Products is a mandatory requirement for this job role. • Strong knowledge and understanding of LAN (Local Area Network) is essential. • Candidate should be adept in Network Design, demonstrating the ability to plan, design and implement network infrastructures. • Practical experience and knowledge in handling Routers is a necessity for this position. • Proficiency in using Switches is required for this role. • A thorough understanding and experience working with WAN (Wide Area Network) is essential.
