ROLE OVERVIEW 

Fashion Nova is on the hunt for a quality Network Engineer. As a Network Engineer, you are responsible for implementing, monitoring, and managing the local and wide area networks of the company to ensure maximum uptime for users and business continuity. The role includes implementing network system configurations, documenting, and maintaining the existing network. The role includes the management and implementation of network security requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

Implementing new network solutions (for hard wired and Wi-Fi networks) and/or improving the efficiency of current network Installing, configuring, and supporting network equipment including firewalls, routers, network switches, wireless and necessary components to sustain business operations. Procuring network equipment and managing subcontractors involved with network installation. Configuring firewalls, VoIP, routing and switching to maximize network efficiency and security. Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting Arranging scheduled network systems upgrades via change control processes. Build network failover capabilities. Updating existing network architecture diagrams and documentation Responsible for implementing 802.1x technologies for wired and wireless networks. Extensive experience with VMWare and Dell servers and storage systems

ROLE REQUIREMENTS 

Bachelor’s Degree in computer sciences, Telecommunications or equivalent experience. Minimum 7 years of experience as Network Engineer in an enterprise with multiple networked locations (preferable from the retail, and/or logistics/warehousing industries) Minimum 5 years of experience with IP-based data networks, Wi-Fi and VoIP Minimum 5 years of experience with the implementation of network security Strong knowledge of networking platforms such as Palo Alto, Cisco and Meraki Strong knowledge of Infrastructure platforms such as Windows Active Directory, VMWare. Analytical and logical mindset to resolve complex network problems. Extensive experience writing technical documentation and diagrams. You are a trusted team player that delivers in a high pace environment.
