This individual will be responsible for creating a positive relationship and providing technical support for our clients. ATS is looking for an experienced Senior Cisco Consultant eager to keep up with evolving technologies. This position is client-facing and requires a desire to interact with people.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced and technically proficient Engineer to join our Managed IT and Security delivery teams. As a key member of the engineering team, you will take a leading role in developing and maintaining tools, platforms, and capabilities that are critical to the success of our Managed Service Provider (MSP) and Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) operations. This role demands a strong technical background, experience in cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, and automation, and the ability to contribute to complex projects that support both client-facing and internal IT needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Service Delivery Enhancement: Lead the development and optimization of tools and platforms that support the efficient and scalable delivery of Managed IT and Security services, including monitoring, automation, and orchestration solutions.
Cybersecurity Operations Support: Drive the enhancement of cybersecurity capabilities, including advanced threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management solutions.
Cloud Infrastructure Development: Design, deploy, and manage complex cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), ensuring they are secure, scalable, and aligned with client and organizational needs.
Kubernetes and Containerization: Take a leading role in the development and management of Kubernetes and other containerization platforms, ensuring seamless integration with existing IT and security operations.
Open-Source and Commercial Tools Integration: Lead efforts to develop and integrate both open-source and commercial technology platforms, with a focus on improving reliability, security, and scalability.
Automation and Scripting: Develop advanced automation scripts and tools to streamline IT and security operations, focusing on deployment, configuration management, and monitoring.
Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Maintain comprehensive documentation for tools, platforms, and processes. Act as a knowledge resource for junior engineers and other team members, facilitating knowledge transfer and best practices.
Continuous Improvement: Identify and lead initiatives to improve IT and security service delivery, leveraging new technologies and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

QualificationsQualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 5 + years of experience in IT engineering, security operations, or a related technical role, with significant experience in managed services environments (MSP, MSSP).3 + years of experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) 2 + years of experience with scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation and tool development.Roles & Responsibilities-

Worked in LAN support setup through Incident management, problem management an ITIL trained resource.Should be able to implement, design, configure, and troubleshoot Network Infrastructure issues, new site setups.Working knowledge should include cisco devices such as Switches, firewalls, IPS, Wireless controllers, access points, WAN optimizers etc.Good issues RCA , Network analysis, Network design, device configurations, operations, support maintenance.Contribute towards new and on-going Technology projects in areas of Network Scalability, Performance and High Availability, Network expansion.Work effectively in technology discussions with Architects and Service Line managers.Excellent communication skills and technical articulation will be needed Must troubleshoot issues related to guest wireless , WLCs , Access points (APs) Manage and technically drive P1 / P2 calls. OT/On Call – rare but will be pre-planned.Average 3 to 4 tickets per day support.Excellent Written/Spoken Communication Skills – has to be client/customer facing. Attention to detail.Looking for a Network Engineer with not just Projects based experience, more on Operational Support Technical Engineer.Strong foundation/experience in design, build LAN/DC, switches, etc.Preferred Qualifications:
