As Network Engineer, you’ll be responsible for designing & implementing data center networking architectures and configuring & optimizing network protocols. You’ll ensure security of data and troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data center networking.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Monitor network links for LAN/WAN, monitor performance/tuning, ensure capacity planning is performed, and proactively assess and make recommendations for improvement Understand networking protocols and technologies, including routing, switching, and load balancing. Install, configure, and maintain routers and switches. Develop and maintain documentation regarding network configurations, operating procedures, and service records relating to network hardware and software Assist in knowledge transfer and training staff in implementations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of LAN/WAN Apply lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position

YOU MUST HAVE

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (or related field), or equivalent Dot experience 10+ years’ experience in: Troubleshooting data center networks Expertise in Cisco APIC and ACI products and technologies Understanding of network protocols, including routing and switching Administering IP networks in a near zero downtime environment DNS/DHCP technologies Troubleshooting network issues & building VPN Using SNMP based monitoring software Administering Firewall Platforms (F5 ASM, Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, or equivalent

YOU MAY ALSO HAVE

Desired Certifications: CCNA, CCNP Prior NOC Experience SD-WAN Experience Cloud Design and Implementation experience 802.11x Experience

ROLE SPECIFICS

Occasional overnight travel required. Must have ability to independently travel as needed, without restriction, by all modes of transportation, including car, plane, or train for customer/vendor calls, training, or meetings.
