Complete Description:  The Legislative Information Systems is seeking a resource to assist them with their network Environment.   Read the following carefully ResponsibilitiesandActivities:
Maintain a reliable and well performing network environment by:o Upgrading switches, routers, and software as neededo Establishing and revising assigned ports for different agencies and userso Troubleshooting and repairing, as required, network equipment• Provide support for Statehouse phone systems including trouble shooting, repairs, and installation of new lines• Provide daily operation and support of local LAN services and end user support for LIS and other Legislative agencies• Securityo Maintain, troubleshoot and administer firewall supporto Determine and set-up individual access rightso Maintain, troubleshoot and administer firewall intrusion detection serviceso Plan and coordinate VPN solutions with other Legislative agencies• Develop, install and monitor a network management system and make network management information available to other legislative agencies• Stay current in network design and design risks technology• Staying current with applicable hardware and operating system changes and enhancements
MinimumQualifications:

• Configuration, Implementation, and Support of Cisco networking switches (Nexus, 3850, 6500)• Strong Cisco UCS knowledge• Cisco Prime and Wireless Controller support• Excellent  written and communication skills• Experience with datacenter technologies; VMware, SAN • Familiarity with Microsoft, Unix/Linux environments
PreferredQualifications:

• CCNA or CCNP certification• Experience with the design and maintenance of ASA firewalls• Familiarity with state Legislative environment
