The Network Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance and security of the data and voice network infrastructures. This position is responsible for making sure the data and voice networks are up and running 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Responsibilities Develop and implement security protocols, policies, and procedures to safeguard network systems and data from unauthorized access and threats.Develops and deploys plans and designs of network systems that will meet and exceed end user needs for performance, security, and compliance to departmental policies and procedures.Lead the development of comprehensive implementation plans to support network growth and security enhancements, optimizing the functionality of routers, gateways, switches, and other network equipment.Responsible for designing network performance reports, detailing precise network status, for management in an accurate and timely mannerLeads detecting operational problems by analyzing data traffic patterns within network infrastructure and recommending improvements to ensure optimal performance.Conduct independent research on emerging technologies that can drive business advancement, providing documentation to outline their benefits and implementation strategies.Troubleshoots network issues and develops appropriate solutions, resources, and deployment processes.Proactively oversee the activities involved in quality resolution of complex technical issues, responding with an appropriate sense of urgency to problems escalated to employee's level. Provides a high level of service to each internal customer emphasizing partnership approach at all times.Defines monitoring, maintenance, expansion, contingency, and recovery plans and strategies to ensure the network is responsive to changes in demand.Proactively identify symptoms and instabilities in a timely and accurate manner to include performing analysis, capacity planning, and testing for organization's network environment.Ensure network security practices comply with industry standards and regulations, and assist with audits as needed.Conducts feasibility and cost studies by assessing the functionality and usability for current technologies to support the budgeting process.Facilitating and collaborating with other IT professionals to develop and implement network security measures.Managing network maintenance by conducting regular network inspection, including updating software and hardware.Keeps informed of the latest technologies to enhance knowledge of networking hardware, software, and best practices.Assist on special projects and performs additional duties as assigned Qualifications CCNA or higher or Combination of Education and/or Equivalent Work Experience5 Years Network administration, design, and implementation3 Years Securing networks Options Apply for this job onlineApplyShareRefer this job to a friendRefer Sorry the Share function is not working properly at this moment.
