Kforce has a client in Salt Lake City, UT that is seeking a skilled and proactive Network Engineer to play a critical role in designing, maintaining, and enhancing our enterprise network infrastructure. This position involves a blend of hands-on technical expertise, problem-solving, and collaboration to ensure the stability, security, and performance of our network systems. Responsibilities: * Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise network equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability * The Network Engineer will troubleshoot and resolve network outages, minimizing downtime and ensuring continuity * Administer and configure network monitoring tools to track performance and generate detailed reports * Lead and contribute to projects focused on upgrading, improving, and maintaining the enterprise network * Collaborate with vendors to stay informed on product updates, best practices, and end-of-life timelines for hardware and software * Ensure compliance with IT security policies and best practices across the network infrastructure * Maintain thorough and up-to-date documentation for technical and non-technical aspects of the network * The Network Engineer will respond to customer requests promptly, coordinating with team members to deliver effective solutions * Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering their growth and development * Take on additional responsibilities as assigned to support departmental goals
