Role:
The Network Engineer’s role is to ensure the stable operation of the organization’s voice and data networks. This includes designing, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing key functional areas, particularly WAN, WLAN, LAN, and VoIP in an enterprise environment. The Network Engineer is expected to have strong communication skills and requires a willingness to mentor others in both technical and soft-skill areas. Education and Experience:
BS/BA degree from a four-year accredited university or college in a technical discipline or demonstrated equivalent experienceCisco CCNA certification requiredFive+ years’ experience with Cisco layer 2 and layer 3 switch configuration and administration as well as hands on Cisco IOS routing, switching, and VLAN / ACL experienceExperience working in a US-based, team oriented, collaborative environment Previous experience in HVAC Industry or other service business preferred
