Network Engineer
Description We are in search of a dedicated Network Engineer in the Healthcare/NHS sector, based in ALLENTOWN, Pennsylvania, United States. In this role, you will be a technical leader, providing guidance within the team, and developing procedures to tackle complex problems. You will also serve as a mentor to other team members, promoting standardized workflows and designs across the organization. Responsibilities: • Act as a technical guide, particularly in your area of specialization, for significant projects. • Regularly meet with users, project leaders, and management to discuss project priorities and directions. • Stay updated with technological advancements and propose new tools and alternatives to boost accessibility and efficiency within the organization. • Lead and coordinate unit, functional, and integration testing processes. • Participate in team and departmental committees, providing data and system administration insights. • Develop and coordinate conventions, standards, and procedures to enhance departmental function. • Formulate and implement strategies and methodologies to meet the future information needs of the organization. • Uphold the current project management methodology and ensure all team members adhere to it. • Evaluate the performance of network components and make recommendations for efficient operation and future growth. • Utilize your skills in Aruba Wireless, Cisco Routers, Aruba, Cisco Wireless, and CCIE Certification. • Provide effective solutions for multiple and changing priorities. • Visit various business and education locations as required. • Exhibit team leadership skills. Requirements • Possession of CCIE Certification is mandatory. • In-depth knowledge and experience in working with Cisco Routers. • Proficiency in Aruba Wireless is required. • Demonstrated experience in Aruba is a must. • Hands-on experience with Cisco Wireless is necessary. • Strong understanding of the healthcare industry's network requirements. • Familiarity with the NHS's IT infrastructure is desirable. • Ability to troubleshoot network issues promptly and effectively. • Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff. • Proven ability to work in a team and collaborate with other IT professionals. • Willingness to stay updated with the latest advancements in network technologies. • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
