Network Engineer | $80 – $110 an hour | Houston, TX 77002 What Matters MostCompetitive Pay of $80 – $110 an hour Schedule: Mon – Fri, 7AM – 4PMLocation: In person, Houston, TX 77002 A well-known Houston area oil and gas company is looking for a Network Engineer to join their team to assist with the day-to-day operation and maintenance of network infrastructures! Responsibilities:Assist with the operation and maintenance of network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, WLAN) and voice communications.Provide top-tier customer service and support IT infrastructure projects.Administer and maintain network monitoring solutions, corporate firewalls, and enterprise NAC solution.Troubleshoot network-related incidents and collaborate with other IT teams for timely project implementation.Ensure high availability and business-critical function support. Qualifications and Requirements:TWIC card is required.At least 3 years of experience supporting computer and network systems.Network certification (CCNA/JNCIA or greater) is required.Knowledge in connecting WAN technologies, networking protocols, routing protocols, and firewalls.Familiarity with cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP), and network monitoring tools (Solarwinds, Splunk, etc).Must be able to work in Houston, as well as Freeport, TX, as needed. Benefits and Perks:Pay: $80 – $110 an hourTemporary assignment expected to last a year or longer.During your employment with The Reserves Network, you can enroll in our benefits program, including medical (3 plans to choose from), dental, disability, critical illness, life, vision, accident, and behavioral health insurance.
