What you’ll get to do:
Provide networking equipment inventory management and documentationDocument network information including of all switching and routing equipment, connected IP-addressable devices and cabling interconnectsProvide day-to-day network maintenance to include installation, configuration, operation, and troubleshooting of switched networks and network equipmentResearch, design and implement security solutions for network infrastructureDesign, price and implement network systems.Engineer network solutions for new & existing systems.Participate in project planning and participate in proposal writing.Track and report identified information system vulnerabilitiesMonitor, review, analyze, tune, and make recommendations to optimize networkManage, configure, and install firewall security appliancesAssist in the creation of test plans and proceduresBasic Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in science, engineering, or related discipline with 2 years of experience; or 0 years of relevant experience with a Masters (MS) degreeAn additional 4 years of relevant experience/education can be considered in lieu of a Bachelor of Science DegreeBackground working with Cisco IOS and IOSXE switches and routersExperience with Unix, Linux and Windows environments and processes.Experience with troubleshooting, deploying, configuration and management of hardware to include routers, switches, firewallsKnowledge Working with Network Protocols, LANS, VLANs, OSPF, STP, LACP and GRE.Must have the ability to acquire a minimum of a IAT Level II (DoD 8570.1M; such as, Security+) certification within 3 monthsClearance: Candidate must currently have, and be able to maintain a Top Secret clearance/SCIPreferred Qualifications:
Experience with multiple network vendors and operating systems.Experience with Wide Area Networks and commensal circuit requests.Experience with ISR assets.Experience with Cisco ASAs.Experience with VMware vSwitches and port groups.Experience with DoD STIGS and NIST security standards.Experience with Inline Network Encryptors. KG175D/G and KG250Experience with port-securityExperience implementing 802.1xExperience managing DNSActive CI Poly ClearanceSalary Range: $81,300.00 - $121,900.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
