Description We are in search of a Network Engineer to be part of our team based in Roanoke, Virginia. As a Network Engineer, your primary role will involve the configuration and maintenance of networking systems, ensuring seamless communication within the organization. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving any network-related issues. Responsibilities • Implementing and maintaining Cisco switches to ensure a robust network system. • Assisting in the planning and restructuring of network topology for optimal performance. • Managing Ubuntu, Windows Server, ESXi, and Proxmox servers' configuration, troubleshooting, and upkeep. • Installing network cables and equipment physically to enhance the network infrastructure. • Constructing and setting up servers physically to support the organizational IT needs. • Prioritizing and working on projects with varying levels of urgency. • Travelling occasionally to remote sites for the installation of new equipment and upgrades. • Utilizing your skills in Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), Checkpoint, Cisco ASA, Cisco Routers, and Cisco Technologies to enhance our network system's efficiency and reliability. • Applying your knowledge in AB Testing, Backup Technologies, Computer Hardware, and Configuration Management to improve our IT operations. • Overseeing the Datacenter to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
